On March 15th, 2021 at 4pm after the preaching at Mairang market. The Lord gave me this message, "Have you ever climbed from the rooftop?" When I got into the car on my way home, I started writing this message.
This is the question that we have to ask ourselves, Have I ever climbed from the rooftop? If not, please start climbing it today. Don't be content to stay on the floor. Jesus doesn't want us to just stay there. We are called to climb from the rooftop.
You might wonder, what is the meaning of that? This is what Jesus said, and the meaning of this is 'Have you ever preached the gospel? Have you told someone about Jesus Christ? Have you ever told someone what the Lord has done in your life?
Matthew 10:27 "What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs."
If you have received the salvation of Jesus, but you have not yet told it to others, you have not preached Christ, it shows that you are still lacking something, you have not obeyed the commission of the Lord.
The Samaritan woman when she met Jesus, and heard what the Lord told her, she quickly ran to her village to tell all the people of that village about Jesus Christ. John 4:28-30; 39-42.
The people of her village will not know Jesus, if this woman will not tell them, they will not receive salvation, they will die without Christ. But thank God that this woman ran and told them.
Dear believers, there's so many precious souls who have not heard the good news of Jesus, they are still waiting for you to climb from the rooftop to proclaim the good news of salvation. If you will not climb from the rooftop and preach the gospel to them, they will perish in hell. It's time for you to quickly climb from the rooftop and tell them about Jesus Christ.
The one who is paralyzed will die if the four men will not climb from the rooftop to let him reach Jesus.
Luke 5:18-20. Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven." (cf. Mark 2:1-5)
Let's has a heart like these four men, the heart of love and compassion for the lost souls and the sick (spiritually and physically). Let's try hard to bring them to Jesus.
1 Tim 4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. This means, when we preach others, we also will be saved.
Dear friends, do not climb from the top just to show off who you are. Do not climb from the top to show to the world what you have (money, education, beauty, etc), but climb from the rooftop to proclaim that Jesus Christ is the Lord and saviour of the world.
Do not climb from the rooftop of social media to show selves, but climb to show Jesus. "LET THE WORLD KNOW JESUS"
This is the calling of the Lord Jesus Christ to us as believers. Let's make a commitment from now on, to climb from the rooftop and from anywhere to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
Mar 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
May the Lord bless you. Amen
